BlackBerry Passport 2 Concept Looks Like A Proper Successor To The Original

The BlackBerry Passport is a well-known phone from BlackBerry. Information technology never sold in staggering numbers, merely it'south well-known in the industry, and quite popular in some circles. Its successor never launched, but a concept designer, in partnership with Letsgodigital, decided to envision information technology, the BlackBerry Passport two.

That being said, if you're familiar with the original, yous'll notice that this phone resembles it quite a fleck. Information technology has that recognizable passport-size design, with a spacious physical QWERTY keyboard, and a square (or close to it) brandish.

In that location are two cameras included on the back, both of which are a part of the same camera island. They're centered, and vertically aligned, along with an LED flash that sits below them. BlackBerry logo is included both on the front and back side of the device.

The designer envisioned this phone to have broad-angle, and ultrawide angle cameras on the back. The summit bezel is thinner than it was on the original, by the fashion. You'll also notice a Type-C USB port at the bottom.

It is worth noting that the designer didn't really go overboard hither. He but modernized the device, in a mode, it still looks similar the BlackBerry Passport, very much then.

The designer also envisioned water and dust resistance for this device

Water and dust resistance, via IP67 rating, has besides been envisioned for the phone. Information technology would really exist interesting to meet how many people would be interested in something like this, presuming it runs Android, of course.

Many of you lot know that BlackBerry is no longer making smartphones, but OnwardMobility has the license to do and so. The company is actually planning to denote the BlackBerry 5G 2021 at some point this year.
